Cat Check: Notice Changes Early, Visit the Vet Prepared

What the Cat Check assistant does

Cat Check is a conversational assistant built into the ABUSUAPAWS App. You describe what you're noticing — a change in appetite, litter-box habits, energy, sleep or grooming — and it asks thoughtful follow-up questions, puts your notes in the context of your cat's recent check-ins, and helps you organise what you've seen. It also looks for patterns and wellness trends in your cat's own history, so vague worries become a clear, factual picture of everyday changes.

Built for vet visits, not in place of them

The assistant is deliberately not a diagnostic tool. It will never tell you that your cat has, or does not have, a condition. Instead, it helps you write down what you've observed — when it started, how often it happens, what else changed — so you can walk into a vet visit with the details already organised and use the appointment well.

Grounded in your cat's own records

Because Cat Check lives alongside your cat's wellness notes, stool and weight records, feeding log and medications, its answers can draw on what you've already tracked about your own cat — not generic advice. If you have multiple cats, each conversation stays with the cat you've selected, so one cat's records never bleed into another's.

Questions cat parents ask

• My cat is sleeping more than usual — is that something to watch?
• When is soft stool worth tracking, and what should I write down?
• My cat skipped a meal today. What details matter for the vet?
• How can I describe a change in thirst or appetite clearly?
